For this high rise residence in the South Loop, we faced a challenge to deliver to the client, a modern kitchen with a soft, midcentury feel. The use of rich woodgrain and a neutral color palette set the stage for a sprinkling of the client’s vintage fixtures and artwork. With a suite of Miele appliances, all of the benefits of modern cooking technology were added to bring this nod to the past into the function of the present.
